The inspirations and ideas of Lorraine Quinn (formerly Picturesque / Gallery Lauvaud, The Art Department) have in this instance been materialised into wonderful day trips for those who love art and gardens too.
On these pleasure filled days you will get to meet Christchurch and Banks Peninsula artists in their own environment, view their work and sometimes see how they work. You will also be able to meet special people you may have only heard about and, to add to your fun, we will include some real surprises.
The first series of tours commence mid September with a different tour on Wednesdays or Thursdays or any other day by request.
Your transport is our own very comfortable mini bus both air conditioned and heated for our fickle weather. Seating is for 8 passengers and so naturally these days are intimate and easy.
We have aimed at keeping these tours affordable as well as enjoyable. Apart from the basic cost of tour plus entry fees where applicable, your only additional cost is that of lunch and any refreshments you may want. Lunch will always be something quite special whether at a local cafe or picnic on the beach. Of course you are free to bring your own if you prefer.
